A position profile is a long and detailed position vacancy announcement that is not designd to published, but yet distributed to potential applicants. It typically a promotional tool designed to give potential insight into the organization, its operations, and its environment. Most often, position profiles are posted on a website or mailed to prospective applicants. They are only typically used for senior executive positions.
